All dog-friendly guest rooms are located in our Straits Lodge, which is about a five-minute walk from check-in at the Main Lodge.
Yes – leashed pets are welcome to ride with you on both Shepler’s and Arnold Transit Company ferries. For specific questions about how to get your pet to the island, please contact the ferry company.
Mission Point loves dogs - of course! There are a number of rooms in the Straits Lodge which are dog friendly. We do require that all dogs are arranged in advance by calling (800) 833-7711. A one-time, non-refundable dog cleaning fee of $100.00 is charged.
Treats, water bowls, frisbees, collars, leashes, pet soaps and other various items are available for purchase at the Mission Point Marketplace shops.

Service dogs are permitted in our restaurants. Special accommodations are possible during inclement weather as well; arrangements can be made with the Concierge or Restaurant Host during your stay.

Mission Point welcomes all well-mannered dogs and reserves the right to require immediate removal of any pet that displays dangerous or unacceptable behavior. If your pet is disturbing other guests/staff or causing damage, the pet will be removed by hotel security officers.
Mission Point Resort does not have dog sitters on staff, but we recommend using the Rover app to find a trusted pet sitter during your stay. You can browse sitters, read reviews, and choose the best fit for your pet's needs.
We ask that your pet is current with all required shots, immunization and flea/tick preventions. These records can be produced if required at any time during the stay.
