DOG SERVICES

If you need to discard pet waste, disposable bags are located at the west end of Straits Lodge.

POOL & HOT TUB

Open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with adult only open swim from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. 

SAFETY AND SECURITY

Dial 0 Your safety is our first priority. Security staff is on duty 24 hours a day. 

SHUTTLE

Dial 3007 Similar to a bus, Mission Point offers a horse-drawn carriage for guests to and from the Resort  and boat docks. Service is provided by Mackinac Island Carriage Tours (MICT); please note:  pricing is subject to change at the discretion of MICT. 

SMOKING

In accordance with Michigan State Law, the use of tobacco products are strictly prohibited in all indoor and outdoor guest areas, including guest rooms.

The use of medical and recreational  marijuana is strictly prohibited at Mission Point as well. A $250 recovery fee per incident will be applied to your guest folio for smoking of any kind in your guest room.

For your convenience, there are smoking receptacles in various locations around the property. Please help us keep  the resort clean.

Dial 3016 With our Michigan twist on classic comfort foods, Round Island Kitchen is where families,  friends and couples gather to round out their Mackinac experience. // Serving daily breakfast,  lunch and dinner from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., bar open until midnight. // Happy Hour from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. 

CHIANTI

Dial 3033 Chianti is a destination for foodies & wine lovers, serving an elevated 5-course prix fixe menu, or  order from our à la carte offerings. Every detail on our farm-to-ferry menu matters. // Dinner served  Tuesday - Sunday with first seatings at 5:00 p.m. and last seating at 9:00 p.m. Reservations are  recommended at Chianti and can be made by calling the Concierge or on OpenTable. 

BISTRO ON THE GREENS

Dial 3007 Bistro on the Greens embodies the liveliness of island living, best known for our craft cocktails  and Mediterranean menu with a beautiful backdrop of the Straits of Mackinac. Open seasonally  from mid-May to mid-September, weather permitting. // Serving daily lunch and dinner from  11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., bar open until 11:00 p.m. // Happy Hour from 9:00 - 11:00 p.m. 

BOXWOOD COFFEESHOP AND CAFÉ

Dial 3061 Enjoy the best picnic provisions on Mackinac Island at Boxwood Coffeeshop & Café. Located in  the Main Lodge, Boxwood offers a variety of to-go items including specialty coffees,  teas, beer, wine, and snacks. As well as hot and cold breakfast and lunch options. // Open daily;  Sunday - Thursday from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Friday - Saturday from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. 

STRAIT UP COFFEE

Dial 3064 Located in the east lobby of the Straits Lodge, Strait UP Coffee is an ideal stop for our Straits Lodge  guests and offers a variety of to-go items including specialty coffees, teas, pop, beer and wine/  As well as snacks, sandwiches, and to-go breakfast & lunch options. // Open daily from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  and 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. 

LILY'S LEMONADE

Dial 3007 Located just off M-185 on the Marketplace patio is Lily’s Lemonade - Mackinac’s largest specialty  lemonade stand. Stop by to try a variety of unique and traditional lemonade blends, including  house-made Frosè! // Hours vary throughout the season, please call the Concierge for daily hours. 

LOBBY LIBRARY

The Lobby Library is a great place to read a book or play board games and cards, which are  available at the Front Desk. These are complimentary and are meant to be enjoyed at any time  of the day by Mission Point guests.

Welcome to Mission Point Resort on the sunrise side of Mackinac Island! We are delighted you  are here and look forward to offering you and your party an extraordinary Mackinac Island  experience.  

Mission Point transcends time; from the moment you step off the ferry, there is an instant sense  of nostalgia, where no cars or worries are allowed. While you are here, we invite you to enjoy  the wealth of guest activities and services available to you during your stay which can be found  in this directory.  

Mission Point is home to a variety of restaurants and eateries, offering farm-to-ferry dining and  a bounty of fresh ingredients from around the great state of Michigan. I highly recommend the  Ware family tradition of enjoying a picnic! Provisions can be found at Boxwood Coffeeshop &  Café. The Great Lawn awaits you! 

Please note, Mission Point actively supports sustainability efforts with full-time staff members  who sort all recyclables. We work closely with the City of Mackinac Island to compost acceptable  items as well as food scraps. A horse and dray take our compostable materials to the city  compost site, where it is processed and then resold to the public. We purchase it back to use in  our 18 acres of grounds and gardens.

We recommend notifying the Bell Stand two hours prior to your ferry departure. 

The Bell Stand opens daily at 6:45 a.m. and is located in the Main Lobby,
