EMPLOYEE EVENTS

Mission Point Resort wants to make all of our employees feel welcome and hope that they are able to enjoy their time spent on Mackinac Island. During the course of the summer months we hold many events to acknowledge the work and dedication of our employees. Some of the events that are held include:

Employee of the Month:
Once a month during the course of the summer season managers of each department nominate deserving employees, for the Employee of the Month recognition. These nominees are then voted upon and the Employee of the Month is revealed during the luncheon that is held to honor all nominees.

International Day:
As so many of our employees come from all around the World we want to make each of them feel at home. Once a month we hold an international day in the employee cafeteria. Employees from the chosen country put together a slide show and help cook their food along side our Executive Chef in the kitchen. It’s great food, good music and a fantastic show!

Fun and Games:
With the assistance of our employees, we hold game nights, ice-cream socials, dance nights, island bike rides, golf tournaments and many more fun activities!
